George Michael Redmon, 72, passed away March 15, 2026. He was born February 26, 1954 in Dallas County, TX to George August Redmon and Lillian Faye (Ferguson) Redmon. Mike married Terre Renfrow June 7, 1980 in West Plains, MO.
Mike was a co-founder of KPM CPA's & Advisors, where he worked for 40 years before retiring in 2016. During his time at KPM he was a partner and served as managing shareholder. After retirement, he continued to work tax seasons at KPM for 9 more years. He was president of the Sunrise Rotary Club, Treasurer of Rock and Ribs and a Board Member of The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (IFAC).
He had a competitive spirit and was an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. He loved hunting, the lake and watching his grandkids play sports. Mike took pride in getting his daily 10,000 steps in and walking his 3 labrador girls.
Mike was humble, highly intelligent and known for his quick wit. Driven and gritty, he approached life with determination while always remaining deeply caring towards others. He had a natural gift for conversation and could talk to just about anyone, making people feel comfortable and welcomed wherever he went. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father and Papa who loved his family deeply and was deeply loved in return.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anne Keohane.
