Milagrita Gerecke Obituary
Milagrita Q. "Elvie" Gerecke, age 68 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday May 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 4, 1955 in Caba La Union, Philippines, the daughter of the late Fernando and Maurica (Ventero) Quinones. Elvie was a longtime member of St. Helen's Catholic Church; and she enjoyed cooking, listening to music, giving advice and helping family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughter, Glady Gerecke; and many brothers and sisters. Elvie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Karl; two daughters, Sherilyn Gerecke, Brandi (David) Crockett; five grandchildren, Madison, Callie, Karlee, Brandon, Joshua; two great grandchildren, Jameson, JaTerrious; two siblings, Purita, Prudencio; as well as extended family and friends. A service will be held on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn Deacon Robert Gutendorf officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.
