Mildred L. Freeman, of Pauls Valley, passed away September 20, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years.

Mildred L. Dunn was born December 22, 1938 in Brownwood, Texas to Harold and Eura (Duffee) Dunn. She was married to David N. Freeman in Brownwood, Texas on August 28, 1955. Pauls Valley has been her home for over 36 years. During that time her husband, Rev. David N. Freeman served as Arbuckle Baptist Association Director of Missions. She was a faithful supporter of her husband in his travels to various churches throughout the Association. Since the 1970's, she has entertained churches and other groups with her impersonation of 'Minnie Pearl'.

She was a member of Pauls Valley Trinity Baptist Church.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Eura Dunn; her husband, David N. Freeman; son, Philip Aaron Freeman; a great grandson, William Duncan, as well as, one sister and one brother.

She is survived by her children, Vicki Lynne Freeman Combs and husband, Larry, and Steven David Freeman; grandchildren, Amy Combs Duncan and husband, Wyatt, Leighton Combs and wife Katie, MSGT, USAF Laramie Combs and wife, Hillary, and Allison Combs; great grandchildren, Weston, Ethan and Walker Duncan, and James, Lanie, Grace, Caleb and Chloe Combs.

The family will receive friends during a time of visitation and viewing on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 10:00 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Pavilion officiated by Larry Combs and Wyatt Duncan. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. We invite you to send words of comfort to the family at www.stufflebeanfuneralhome.com.
