Mildred Ann Iris

Mildred "Millie" Ann Iris, 79, of Catasauqua, died peacefully on Oct. 21, 2023 in Cedar Crest Post Acute. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Paul S. and Leocadia (Kasper) Johnson. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mildred will be lovingly remembered by children, Donna wife of Robert Newman, Susan Iris-Zographou, Karen Salerno, and Kenneth Reese; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Arthur Iris-Mistretta and siblings, Paul Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Eleanor Mistretta, and Susan Johnson.
Known to most as Millie, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Over the years, she dedicated a lot of her time creating and building miniature dollhouses. She loved anything to do with arts and crafts.
With her love of animals, she enjoyed zoo trips and long country rides. She loved going shopping and eating at many of the local restaurants.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Viewing 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
