Mildred Fae "Mamaw" LaMoy went to be with her Jesus on February 24, 2025. Fae, as she was better known as, was born September 10, 1934, in Sayers, TX, to Hugo and Margaret Reus.
My Mom loved watching Gospel singing programs on TV. She was often heard singing loudly at the church services at her rest home in LaVernia. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply, and would always brighten up when they came to visit her.
She is preceded in death by: Husband; Milton James LaMoy, Parents; Hugo Douglas Reus and Margaret Adline Reus, Siblings – Alma Irene Baeza, Hugo F.M. Reus, Jacob Charlie Reus, Margaret Louise Duplesse, Robert William Madden, Arthur William Reus, Lawrence Edward Reus, Luther Gene Reus, and Myrtle Rose Mills, Daughters – Alice Jeanone LaMoy and Lela Aline Porch, Granddaughters – Virginia Denise Fiebig and Brooke Mychal LaMoy.
She is survived by: Brother Kenneth Irvin Reus, Daughter Shirley Sondra Perkins, Sons – Michael James LaMoy and his wife Sherri Lynn LaMoy, and Paul Kevin LaMoy and his wife Stacy Rose LaMoy
Grandchildren – Roger Lee Perkins, Marvin Jeffery Perkins, Geneva Michelle Blake, Jessica Fern Porch, Dustin Bryant Perkins, Taylor M'liss LaMoy, John Michael LaMoy, Spencer Braden LaMoy, and Megan Claire LaMoy, Great-Grandchildren – Corey Lee Perkins, Michael Lee Perkins, Matthew Lee Perkins, Christopher Lee Perkins, Brandon Lee Perkins, Christopher Michael Fiebig, Richard Nicholas Fiebig, Corey Lee Fiebig, Zakary Ryan Blake, Brittany Jean Blake, Macyn Aline Blake, Madelyn Michelle Blake, Tyler Ryan Pennington, Gavin Alexander Perkins, Brayden Bryant Perkins, Shiloh Keith Clark, Addyson Rose Clark, Peyton Michael LaMoy, and Everett Parker LaMoy, Great-Great-Grandchild – Evelyn Sondra Perkins
Her numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews loved their "Aunt Fae" or "Grandma Fae," depending on which generation they were in, because of her hospitality – and especially her cooking. And her children, as according to Proverbs 31:28, rise up, and call her "Blessed."
