Mildred Lynn Knight Widgery, of Clayton, GA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 22nd, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lloyd Widgery; and one son, Robert Lloyd Widgery Jr. 

She is survived by one son, John Allen Widgery (Sandra); grandchildren, Kimberly Widgery Leatherman (Steve), Lynn Widgery Free (Tony), Brett Thompson (Diane) and Kurt Thompson; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive. 

Mildred was a longstanding member of Clayton Baptist Church and was also active in the Grace Green Prayer Group. 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at Tate City Cemetery, located in Tate City, GA with Pastor Joey Thompson officiating. No formal visitation will be held. The family is receiving friends at home, 312 Pickett Hill St, Clayton, GA 30525. 

The family would like to thank Shannon Robinson FNP, and staff of Amedysis Hospice for their love and support during her illness. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, Place of Hope, 81 Derrick St, Clayton, GA 30525.
