Milton Terrill Obituary

Mr. Terrill was raised in Kirtland, was a life scout from Boy Scout troop 86, and a 1964 graduate of Kirtland High School. He was employed by Lincoln Electric, 1964-2014; and was a small arms honor graduate of the U.S. Army from 1966 - 1969 serving in Vietnam as a small arms repairman. On Nov 2, 1968 Milton married the love of his life, Bonita L Johnson, of Mentor Ohio.
Mr. Terrill attended Community Christian Church and was a member of LCRGC, OGCA, VFW Post 7939, DAV, NRA -Life, Military Order of the Cootie, American Legion Post 336, and NAGR. Milton served as range trustee for 23 consecutive years at LCRGC enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, reloading, flea markets, tinkering, socializing, and helping others.
Milton is survived by his sister Adah M. Wakelee of Rome NY, son Trenton N. (Angie) Terrill, daughter Tara Terrill of Mentor-on-the-Lake, daughter-in-law Bobbie Terrill of Keithville, grandkids, Timothy (Aly) Terrill of Bossier City, Sebastian Terrill of Beavercreek, and Madeline Terrill of Columbus, as well as great grandkids Nathan and Chandler Terrill of Bossier City. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Bonita L. (Johnson) Terrill, son Thomas N. Terrill, and siblings Butler Terrill, Dency Terrill, and Chester Terrill.
Visitation for family and friends will take place Saturday, March 15, 2025 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio 44077. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. and conclude with military honors.
