SAVANNAH- Minister Jeremiah Williams, Sr. 75 passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 15,2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Minister Jeremiah Williams was born on September 11, 1949, to Reverend Henry and Mother Emma Willliams of Montieth GA. He was the second of 8 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Mr. Henry Williams Jr, Deacon James Williams Sr, Deacon Joshua Williams and Mr. Joseph Williams.
He was educated in the local schools and was a graduate of Sophronia Tompkins High School Class of 1967. He was a member of Saint Paul CME Church serving until his health began to decline.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children: Moneca Williams of Virginia Beach VA, Jeremiah (Ana) Williams II of Chesapeake VA, Tavaras Reed and Jermaine Williams of Savannah GA. His three siblings, Ms. Juerlene Williams of Savannah GA, Mrs. Jessica (John) Beckett of Fayetteville GA, and Jonathan (Joyce) of Savannah GA., Sister-in-Law, Mrs. Jessie Lee Williams of Montieth GA, Mrs. Yvonne Williams of Rincon GA, and one aunt Mother Bertha Lee Beckett of Savannah GA., six grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
