SAVANNAH - Mrs. Margaret Dyson, 74 entered eternal rest, Friday, August 22, 2025 at her residence. Born November 8, 1950, in Sylvania, Georgia to Joe Blake and Janette Miller. She received her early education in Chatham County, Pearlie Smith Elementary School and Jenkins High School. Margaret was affectionately known as Big Momma2 by her family and friends. She was a member of Colty Temple and later joined Brampton Baptist Church. She was employed by the Board of Education as a bus driver as the years passed, she later became the bus monitor. She enjoyed eating seafood and loved spending time with her family and cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Edward Dyson, her parents, Arthur Doyle, Sr. and Janette Doyle; three sisters, Patricia Doyle, Janice Taylor and Rosalie Carter; one grandson, John Kareem Williams. Margaret is survived by two daughters; Vickie Capers-Thompson (Michael W.), and Tanya Williams (Mario H.); one son, Avon Dyson, two sisters, Jeanette Blake and Frankie Mae Doyle; six brothers, Arthur, Stephen, Willie, James and Cleveland Doyle, all of Savannah, GA; Leroy Doyle of Durham, NC.; four grandsons, Michael Scott, Arkeem Williams (Tiara), Quadramel Williams, Jr., Rashad Williams of Savannah, GA, one granddaughter, Tammie Williams; seven great granddaughters, Tyqueshia, Diamond, Keiyani Williams, Michyah Scott, Airanna Green, Amara Williams of Savannah and Malayshia Scott of Atlanta; three great grandsons, Tyriq Williams and Elijah Williams of Savannah, and Michael M. Scott of Atlanta; one great great grandson, Tyriq M. Williams, Jr., of Savannah, GA, a special friend, Frank Collins of South Carolina, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
