Shreveport Louisiana
Minnie Longino Thompson passed away Sunday, November 27th, 2022 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center North Campus, from complications of the Flu. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St Joseph Chapel (Trichel), 2443 Hwy 1226, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Interment will follow the service.
Minnie was born May 4th, 1929, in Coushatta, Louisiana, to parents Harrison Longino and Flora Roshto who both preceded her in death. Minnie was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church and then a member of The Cathedral of St. John Berchmans. She was a resident of The Nursing Home At The Oakes for 4 Years. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Thomas Calvin Thompson and two great grandchildren Kinsey Thompson and Grayson Thompson.
Minnie is survived by 5 Children: Sons; Tommy Thompson wife Shane Duggar, Mooringsport LA., David Thompson and wife Linda, Blanchard LA., Greg Thompson, and wife Eppy, Houston, Texas, Marty Thompson and Wife Sheila, Benton LA. And daughter Rose Attaway and husband Steve, Shreveport LA., Seven Grandchildren Scottie Attaway, Houston, Texas. Amanda DiNatale and husband Adrian, St Petersburg, FL, Palmer Attaway and wife Lindsay, Shreveport, Zach Thompson, and wife Trish, Seattle, WA. Calvin Thompson and wife Jere, Benton LA. Taylor Thompson and wife Kayleigh, Bentonville, AR., Adam Thompson and wife Amber, Benton, LA. She is also survived by six, beautiful Great-Grandchildren: Julian Stettler, Lily Attaway, Tucker Thompson, Caden Thompson, Kinley Thompson, and Jack Thompson.
Pallbearers will be her sons and grandchildren
