She was born in Pensacola, Florida, September 1, 1944 to Floyd and Jewel Oliver.
She graduated from Escambia high school in 1962. She graduated from Florida State University in 1966 with a dual major in English and as a media specialist. Her entire professional career was spent as an educator in Escambia county Florida. She finished her career as a librarian at Helen Cairo elementary school.
She was a beloved mother and sister to her son, John Williams, her brother Raymond Oliver and his wife Victoria Oliver.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to your favorite charity in her name.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home beginning at 1:30pm with services immediately to follow at 2:00pm.
