MITSEY FUSON Obituary
Mitsey Kay Fuson, age 62, of Knoxville, Tennessee journeyed from this life into the next on May 4, 2024 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital.
She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James and Betty Nash Dison.
Mitsey was a true history buff with a curious inquisitive mind. She enjoyed watching the history channel because of her love for knowledge and the history of mankind. She was always curious about the past and the future, and especially the beyond and life after death. She was an outside person who loved to go fishing and camping. She loved spending time at the lake and going to the beach. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren more than anything. Mitsey was absolutely one of the most loving individuals and cared for everyone and anyone that she came across her path in this life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle Escose Nash, aunts Ruby Wilson and Anna Mae Turner, and grandsons Dameon Smith and Brandon Smith.
Left to cherish her memory, her husband Donnie Fuson, sons Michael (Angie) Smith and Jimmy (April) Smith, daughter Jessica (Manuel) Collins, grandchildren Cameron Collins, Katie Collins, Brandon Smith, Gabriel Smith, Jasper Smith, Carra Lopez, Scarlet Lopez, Jackson Smith, greatgrandchild Amelia Hicks, special nieces Angela (Rober Touchton) Jones and Britney Jones, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hooper Cemetery in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.
Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Fuson Family.
