Mitzi was born on May 3, 1963, to Lowell and Robbie Stephens, in Okemah, OK, where she grew up and graduated from high school. She then studied elementary education and math at East Central University in Ada, OK.
Mitzi was courageous and fiercely independent and faced head-on every obstacle and challenge throughout her life. She was full of energy and laughter despite many debilitating health issues. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, who mourn her loss.
Mitzi was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a brother, Fred, and three sisters, Susan, Cynthia, and Priscilla, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. We will miss her feisty spirit and loving heart.
To honor Mitzi's wishes, there will be no public memorial service.
