Molly Dephane Gordon born on January 12, 1951 to Viola Lady Barkus and Roy Gordon was called to home August 29th, 2025.
For the first 5 years of her life she was reared in Parker Chapel with her foster parent Doc and Ted Smith until his passing she came back home to live with Auntie Bell where she lived and finished her education. She attended Douglas Elementary and Sasakwa High School. Later she married Ronnie Golden and to this union a baby boy was born, Brent Golden.
Molly worked various jobs. She was employed by Western Electric in Oklahoma City, she also worked at a nursing home as a CNA.
Molly was the mother of 3 sons, Brent, Anthony, and Gerald Golden. Molly also inherited 3 bonus children, Michelle Gordon, Wardella Robinson, and Gerald (Jerry) Gordon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Viola Lady Barkus and Roy Gordon; grandparents, Lula and Sherman Barkus; son, Anthony Gordon, aunt, Annie Bell Cornelia Barkus; 2 sisters, Betty Barkus Chandler, Gerthia Abraham; 2 brothers, Keith Barkus, and Kenneth (Cubby) Barkus; 1 uncle, Rayfield Barkus.
Molly leaves to cherish her sweet memories, her children, Brent Golden of Tulsa, OK, Gerald Golden of Tulsa, OK, Michelle Gordon of Maryland, Wardella Robinson of Maryland, Gerald Gordon of Tennessee; 2 grandsons, Terell Gordon, Gerald Gordon Jr.; 2 granddaughters, Chantell Gordon and Akiela Gordon; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Gerald Barkus of Shawnee, OK, Jerena Guess of Sasakwa, OK, LouAnn Barkus of Sasakwa, OK, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Rev. Willie Guient officiating. Interment to follow at Thomas Town Cemetery in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.
