Mona Arleen Broll

Mona Arleen Broll, aged 66, of Cameron, passed away on Thursday morning, March 5th, 2026. She was born on August 12, 1959, to Robert Lee Matyastik and Mona Pearl Robinson. For three decades, she operated a dog breeding business alongside her mother, known as Silver City Kennels. She cherished time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren: David, Jonah, and Malakai Leija, and Claire Herring. Her love for animals and her family was paramount. She will be fondly remembered for her radiant smile and joyful laughter. Mona was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Regina Matyastik, and her son Dewey Broll. She is survived by her husband Ronald K. Broll, her children Crystal Broll, Tiffany Leija, and J.J. Broll, her grandchildren, and numerous brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom she held dear. Mrs. Broll will be cremated at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home, and details for a celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
