Mona L. Ganley, age 74, passed away on January 25, 2026. She was born on April 7, 1951 in Hot Springs, Arkansas (in Garland County) to Ethyl M. Smith and Louis R. Lowe. Mona was adopted by Lucille Grober and Edward Grober Sr. and was renamed Patricia Ann Grober. She later changed her legal name back to her birth name. On May 6, 1999 she married Allyn L. Ganley, originally from Lindstrom, MN. Mona is pictured above in a photo taken in 2012 with her and Allyn's special dog "Coconut". Mona and Allyn lived together in Fort Smith, AR for most of their married life and also lived in Roseville, MN from 2005 to 2006. Allyn passed away on January 2, 2013 in Fort Smith, AR at age 60. Also, Allyn's mother, Darlene Ganley passed away while living at the family farm in Lindstrom, Minnesota on May 15, 2021 at age 87. Allyn's step-father James E. Ganley died on June 12, 2015 at age 89. Mona never had any children and is survived by her good friends James and Judith Blackford of Lake Elmo, MN; and her caregiver and close friend, Gayla Ellingson of Alma, AR as well as her children, Kellen Cara, and Ronan. In addition, Mona is survived by many other loving friends, caregivers in Van Buren and Fort Smith AR and also many Ganley family relatives. Mona had a very strong and unshakeable faith in God and we know she is in heaven with God and her beloved husband Allyn. Mona, we look forward to the day we will see you in heaven. Until then we carry the sweet memory of your life in our hearts. With love from your family and friends. Amen!
