Mona Loraine Mooney was born on October 16, 1957 to Claude and Juletta Rathbun. The youngest of three she was spoiled from the start. Mona attended Albertville High School graduating in 1957. There she made several life-long friends. Members of the graduating class "the 76ers" still meet up monthly and she will be greatly missed at their gatherings. Mona married Frank Mooney on August 31, 1990. Mona had two children, a daughter, Jamie and a son, Jordan. Her real joy was her three grandkids, Vivian, Zander and Delaney. She was always so proud of them and could not wait to brag to all her friends about how wonderful they are. Mona was a lifelong Alabama Football fan and spent every Saturday cheering on 'the Tide'. She loved the beach. She also never met an animal she didn't want to take home. Mona is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Juletta Rathbun, her brother, Kenneth Rathbun, and her sister, Diane Rathbun Lambert. Mona is survived by her husband, Frank Mooney, her children, Jamie Biles and Jordan Biles, and her grandchildren, Vivian Biles, Alekzander Biles, and Delaney Biles. She was deeply loved by her friends and family.
