Monica Ashley Burman

Monica Ashley Burman (née Kasper), 36, of East Troy WI, formerly of Huntley, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by love on October 7, 2025.
Born to Michelle and Anthony on January 12, 1989 she showed strength and fortitude from a young age that only continued to grow as she got older. She was kind and fiercely protective of those she cared for, known for often "standing watch" at her baby sister Megan's swing as a toddler.
She met her husband Steve in 2015 and they shared an instant connection. They moved to Colorado and started their life together, marrying in 2018 and starting their family before moving back to the Midwest. She was a devoted mother who loved her children more than anything in this life. "Making magic" for them and seeing the joy in their eyes was when she was happiest.
She is reunited in death with her Grandma Joanne, Grandma Katherine, Grandpa PomPom, Great Grandma Nonnie, aunts, uncles and perhaps most importantly her dogs, Lucy and Sophie. She is survived by her three children, Harper, Lily and Myles, her husband Steve, her sister Megan, her parents Michelle and Anthony, her Grandpa Stanley and countless other loved ones who will forever feel her absence.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 12-4pm with a funeral service at 3pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL
