Moulton Larmay, 86, of Colchester passed away on September 30, 2024, at UVM Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1958 and married the love of his life Susan Gonyo Larmay on August 8, 1959, in Colchester, VT. Moulton owned and operated Moe's Bows in Colchester for 50 years, he enlisted in the Air National Guard right after graduation and continued his service before retiring in 1995 as a Master Sergeant, Moulton was also an avid HAM Radio Operator for 70 years.
Moulton was preceded in death by his parents, Colixte Larmay and Dorothy Clark Larmay, and his in-laws Richard Gonyo and Norma Bates Gonyo.
Moulton is survived by his wife of 65 years, Susan Larmay, daughter Kimberly Morin and husband Paul Morin of Colchester, daughter Laurie Rivers and husband Brian Rivers of Essex, son Craig Larmay and wife Michele Larmay of Westford and sister Betty Carrier of Milton. He is also survived by his granddaughter Amy Newhall and husband Nicholas Newhall of Saint Albans, grandson Eric Larmay and wife Jordan Larmay of Mountain Home, ID, and granddaughter Danielle Morin of Colchester. Moulton leaves behind four great-grandchildren who he adored and was so proud of, Haylee Newhall, Kaleb Newhall, Cohen Larmay and Caden Larmay as well as several nieces, nephews, brothers, and sister-in-laws.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Miller 4 at UVM Medical Center for their kindness and generosity throughout the time Moulton was there.
Visiting hours will be 4-7 pm on October 7, 2024, at Corbin and Palmer in Essex. The funeral will be at 9 am on October 8, 2024, at Corbin and Palmer, followed by a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colchester at 10 am. Please join the family for a celebration of life at the Moose Lodge on Williston Rd, South Burlington at 12:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the UVM Miller Cardiac Unit.

Can't believe it's almost 1 year since you left us. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Some days are better than others. We are taking good care of mom as we promised. Love you and miss you so much.

Dad its been almost a year since you past there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you, I wish that you could answer some of the questions I have. Atheana should be there with you keeping you company, you would love our new dog. I love you and miss you DAD untill we see each other again.
