Myesha Michelle Lee

Myesha Michelle Lee, age 48, passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2022, in the Christiana Care Wilmington Hospital, Wilmington, Delaware.
"Esha," as she was lovingly called by family and friends, was born on October 24, 1973, to Gail Lee Cannon and James Pablo Peters in Wilmington, Delaware.
She received her early education in the Wilmington public school system, and she graduated from the former Howard High School, now known as Howard High School of Technology, where she perfected her skills in the nursing field.
Esha always had a loving and caring spirit that she continuously put on display for the people in her life, so it came as no surprise that she would pursue a lifelong career in a field devoted to caring for others. She worked as a certified nursing assistant in various nursing homes and retirement communities including the Stonegate Retirement Community where she was employed for the past 14 years until her passing.
The same caring and compassionate spirit that Esha exhibited in her professional life was also evident in her personal life as demonstrated in the help that she provided to her loved ones when they needed it the most, including her uncle Gary Lee for whom she was a caretaker until his passing.
Esha was a devoted mother to her children and always showered them with unconditional love and support. They were her pride and joy and did many things together including shopping, going to the movies and just hanging out. She also took great pleasure in spending time with her extended family. Esha had a special bond with each one of her nieces and nephews. She held all of them deep in her heart. It was also not uncommon for her to pile her younger cousins in the car for a mini vacation or quick getaway.
Esha was preceded in death by her brothers, Stephen J. and Stepfon B. Ashley along with her grandmother, Idonya L. Ford.
Left to continue Esha's kind spirit and legacy of love are her children; Davonte Lewis, Destiny Lee Jones (Daniel), Mahkiy Lee, Ma'Eesaah Lee, and Mushin Lee; her granddaughter, Danira Jones; her parents Gail Cannon (Robert) & James Pablo Peters; her brother, Arthur J. Lee (Renee); her devoted aunt and uncle, Alethea "Shelly" Wilson and Kenneth Ford; her godchildren, Bru'Shon Stewart and Jamar Freeman, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
