Myrtle E. Muehlenbeck, age 80, of Lake Dallas, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Denton, Texas.
Myrtle was born August 2, 1943, in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Roy and Dorothy Brown. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and was a longtime member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Denton, Texas. In her spare time, she loved crafting and especially loved spending time with her grandkids.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothy Brown; son, Brent Muehlenbeck and her sister, Betty Joffrion.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Muehlenbeck; children, Brian Muehlenbeck and his wife, Ruthy, and Brenda Debus and her husband, Eric; grandchildren, Jordan Debus and Jack Debus; sisters, Dorothy Ann Mercer, Royetta Wilkes, Jean Klink and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Myrtle will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 1 PM at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 300 W Oak St., Denton, Texas 76201.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of the Memory Care Unit of Anthology of Denton for the wonderful care of Myrtle."
