Myrtle Jean Randermann, 89, passed away on February 26, 2025. Myrtle was born on January 6, 1936 in Brenham, Texas to Gilbert and Lydia Marcus.
Myrtle, also known as Grandma Jean loved God and her family. She was a life long member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill where she served many roles. She was a part of the altar prep, family aid committee and ladies aid. She was a woman of faith and stood strong in sharing that with her family.
She left a remarkable impression kept deep in all her children, grand children and great grandchildren's hearts. She would always brag about how proud she was of them all.
She especially loved watching her grandchildren show at the WCF. You would always see the kids looking for her in the stands, as she never missed a show.
At home you would find her making sure her bird feeders were full, sprinkling a little extra on the ground for the bunnies too so she could enjoy watching them from her kitchen window. She also enjoyed her daily walks to open the gate for the sheep so they could roam bigger pastures and her walks to the mailbox enjoying her fresh cut yard that she took so much pride in taking care of. She also always made sure Paul got his routine trips to town as she enjoyed them just as much as he did.
Her voice was soft and kind, her heart was gold and her love for God and her family was pure.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Jerry Earl Randermann, her sister, Bernice McNicoll and great granddaughter Falyn Schroeder. She is survived by her children, Jerry Randermann, Marcus (Brenda) Randermann, Johnny (Sherry) Randermann, Robert Randermann, Paul Randermann, Mary (Robbie) Roese, Dale (Martin) Reisner and Penny Randermann; her sister, Carolyn (Ben) Kessel. Also left to cherish her precious memory are 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
