Memorial Oaks ChapelPatricia Ann Ebert, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a woman of faith, passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 73. She was born on August 21, 1952 in Plaquemine, Louisiana to Arthur and Ida Mae (Brooks) Ganaway. She was baptized in 1952 and confirmed in 1966.
On June 6, 1970, Patricia married Bernd Franz Ebert. She was a loving mother to Chrisopher (Tamara) Ebert, Tonia (Benny) Cruz, Elizabeth Ebert (Dan Giebel), and Rachel Ebert. Brothers and sisters-in-law left to cherish her memory are Charles Ganaway, Joe (Ruth) Ganaway and Paul (Katie)Ganaway. Remembering her dearly are sisters and brothers-in-law: Irene (Henry) Melancon, Sallie Barbier, Mary (Dane) Hebert, Audry Martinez and Julie Morgan (David Skilliter).
Patricia is also survived by her grandchildren: Chesere (Chez) Cruz, Taylor Cruz, Caleb Cruz, Hazel Ebert, Brian Giebel, and Kristen Giebel. Great grandchildren: Rylan Rigsby, Axel Rigsby and Lucas Giebel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, in laws, Frank and Maria Ebert, brother, John Ganaway, brothers-in-law, A.J. Barbier, Jeff Martinez and sister-in law, Vicky Ganaway.
Two things that Patricia truly enjoyed were attending daily mass and spending time with family.
A visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, LA from 9:00 am until the Memorial Mass begins at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Park.
