Jerry Gene Randermann, age 68, of Brenham, Texas, passed away suddenly on October 6, 2025, at his home.

Jerry was born on March 26, 1957, in Brenham, Texas, to Jerry Earl and Myrtle Randermann. He was baptized on April 29, 1957, and later confirmed on April 4, 1971, at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill.

Jerry graduated from Brenham High School and was the oldest of eight siblings. He was a natural leader with a big heart and a quick sense of humor. Jerry was always willing to lend a helping hand and could be counted on for sound advice and a good laugh.

Not long after graduating, Jerry married Carol Sechelski, and together they shared two children, Daniel and Rachel.

Jerry began working at an early age at Brookshire Brothers. He later enjoyed his time working at Blue Bell Creameries for 23 years, where he proudly delivered the best ice cream in the country. After his years with Blue Bell, his career led him to various odd and end jobs-one being long-haul trucking, which gave him the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful places in the United States. It also allowed him to grow his shot glass collection, a favorite hobby he proudly displayed. Jerry also enjoyed his time working for the United States Postal Service, where he took great pride in delivering mail and Amazon packages along his route.

Raising two children kept Jerry busy and happy. He could always be found on the sidelines cheering on his kids or out in the barn helping them with their fair projects. He took great pride in their accomplishments and worked hard to provide for his family.

Jerry's greatest joy came from being "Uno" to his grandchildren-Brooklyn, Jake, and Brittyn. They were his pride and joy and brought endless happiness to his life. Uno supported them in everything they did-from sports and dance recitals to fair projects and school events. He always put his grandchildren first and made sure they knew how deeply they were loved.

Jerry enjoyed many of life's simple pleasures-gardening, tending to his chickens, taking Charlotte for truck rides, cooking, Amazon shopping, and spoiling his grandchildren every chance he got.

Jerry will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew him.

Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his family: son, Daniel Randermann and his wife India; daughter, Rachel Church and her husband Josh; his grandchildren Brooklyn and Brittyn Randermann and Jake Church; his loyal companion, Charlotte; siblings, Marcus (Brenda) Randermann, Johnny (Sherry) Randermann, Robert Randermann, Paul Randermann, Mary (Robbie) Roese, Dale (Martin) Reisner, Penny Randermann, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Myrtle and Jerry Earl Randermann.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 2:30 PM at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill, with an honorary reception to follow at the Prairie Hill Fire Station.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill Youth or Prairie Hill VFD in his memory.
