Nada Witten Larimore, 92, was called Home to sing alto in the Heavenly choir on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
Nada spent her life serving others with love, compassion, and wisdom. Since childhood she has shared a passion for growing a garden of beautiful flowers and family favorite, blackberries. Her love for music has carried her through life's many mountains and valleys, in a joyful song of praise to her Heavenly Father. She cherished sewing & quilting, sharing her gift with many. She also had a very successful career in real estate.
Her family gone before and waiting to welcome her Home, include her parents, David & Nora Doss; two beloved husbands, George H. Witten Jr, and Richard E. Larimore Jr; son David Witten; granddaughter Amanda Witten Frank; and great-grandson Peyton Bennett.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her son Mark Witten (Vicky); grandchildren, Kyle Witten (Rebekkah), Erin Witten, Bethany Witten Begley (Jake), Katelyn Bennett (Robert); and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 2nd from 12:00pm - 8:00pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd and Monday from 10:00am - 1:00pm with her funeral service at 1:00 pm at Summit Heights Methodist Church, 7400 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40228. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Nada is truly a treasured gift, and we thank the good Lord for our time together.
In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
