Nancy May Aldridge
March 3, 1930 - January 17, 2025
Nancy Aldridge died peacefully Friday evening. She was surrounded by her three
children, Nancy Liz Nasrallah, Caroline Salzmann (David), and Bill Aldridge (Judy).
We are comforted knowing she is reunited with her husband, Hank, in heaven.
Nancy was known for her feisty spirit and sharp wit. A few of the activities she enjoyed
were bridge games, Scrabble and knitting. She was an avid reader and was always on
top of current events. Nancy was a faithful fan of the Delaware Blue Hens, the
Baltimore Orioles and the Chicago Cubs.
Before coming to Edenwald Senior Living in Towson, Maryland, Nancy and Hank
raised their children in Pennsylvania and then moved to the Chicago area in the mid
1970's. Together they traveled across the U.S. and overseas. Whether their travel was
with their church group or in their RV, it always included a stop at some historic site or
event. Every summer there was a family trip to Virginia (where she was born) and
Delaware (where she grew up) and always part of the trip included a scenic side trip.
After traveling to Texas for a square dance convention (another passion) they spent
many years there as "Winter Texans".
Nancy will be remembered as a good friend & neighbor as well as for her sense of
style.
She is also survived by Georgetta Toomey (David), Jess Dodd (Elyce), Winston Dodd,
Ben Toomey (Kelsey Coggin), Lauren Toomey, and Kyla Elle Dorman. She is also
survived by Laura Nasrallah and her children Marc, Beata, and Anna
Muench-Nasrallah.
A memorial service will be held on March 8, at 2pm, at Edenwald. There will a time of
sharing and interment of ashes in Illinois at a later date.
Donations may be made to the Deacons Fund at Central Presbyterian Church (7308
York Road, Towson, MD. 21204) or to Community Presbyterian Church (407 N. Main
Street, Mt. Prospect, Illinois 60056)

Nancy and Hank always sat behind my mom and me at Community Presbyterian Church in Mt. Prospect, IL for many years. She and I served on the Presbyterian Women's Board together and became good friends. I'm thankful for the wonderful memories I have of her and for all she and your dad did for CPC. Sending my condolences to your family.

Sincerely,
Jane Rideout

I am so blessed to be Nancy´s friend, met your mother, and been given the privilege of supporting her in prayer during the health issues that eventually took her life. I know her quickly failing health in the recent past has been hard on all of you. I am grateful she is at peace now. I am continuing to pray for your times of missing her. Gail Seward
