Nancy Lee Annis, 88, of Reynoldsburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born on July 6, 1934 in Omega, Ohio to Henry and Mildred (Bauer) George. She was a graduate of Waverly High School. Nancy had a deep appreciation and awe of nature and was a passionate gardener who joyfully presented her creative floral designs at the Ohio State Fair, often winning best in show and Blue Ribbon awards. She formed many deep friendships as a member of the Four Seasons Garden Club, as well as the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs where she was a longtime judge for many flower shows across the state. She treasured her many travels with her husband and friends to such places as California, Hawaii, Alaska, the Great Smokey Mountains, the Grand Canyon, Canada, Nova Scotia, The Panama Canal and The Holy Land. She was a devoutly active member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, now Reynoldsburg Community Church. Nancy was devoted to her family and found great joy caring for her husband and children. She was a wonderful mother and wife who enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family and many of her children's friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles W. Annis, son David C. Annis; and siblings Jim and Judy. Nancy is survived by children Brian G. (Kate) Annis, Lisa G. Neuhoff, and Mark W. (Susannah) Annis; daughter-in-law Janet Annis; grandchildren Charles Annis, Daniel Annis, Clara Neuhoff, Sara Neuhoff, Nathan Annis, Amanda (Rick King) Annis, and Noah Ratcliff; great-grandchildren Dallas, Skylar, and Oliver; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her family will be having a celebration of her life at Reynoldsburg Community Church, 1636 Graham Road, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, on Saturday, July 15, at 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Reynoldsburg Community Church.
