Nancy Evelyn (Bowling) Barger, 91, Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was born on October 7, 1933, in Clay County, Kentucky, to the late Adam and Rosey (Roark) Bowling. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Regina (Isaac) Stearns; son, Carl David (Pauline) Barger both of Scottsburg, Indiana; sister, Lois (John) Strouse; two brothers, William Fred Bowling and Adam (Carol) Bowling, Jr.; three grandchildren, Heather Stearns, Samuel (Ellen) Stearns, and Casey (Nathan) Wendel; and a great-grandchild, Bryce Wendel.
