Nancy Lee Hall, a beloved librarian, devoted animal lover, and passionate gardener, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, at the age of 78, surrounded by the comforting presence of her family. Nancy was the heart of her home-a devoted wife to her husband of 55 years, Frederick W. Hall, and a deeply loving mother to their children. Her warmth, patience, and quiet humor made their home a place of comfort. She was born on March 25, 1947, in Syracuse, New York to the late George and Leah Glahn. Nancy was a lifelong advocate for curiosity, compassion, and quiet strength. She served for over 20 years as librarian at the Tipton County Library, where she nurtured generations of readers. She attended First Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed being part of the bell choir and the Sunday afternoon Bible study group, Nancy found joy and solace in nature. She enjoyed her garden, lovingly tending to it each season ensuring it bloomed with vibrant color. She is survived by her husband, Frederick W. Hall, her children; Adrienne Lee Hall Spring, Dr. Cameron Wesley Hall, Harmony Anne Hall Jump (Cody), her brother, Larry Shick, and her grandchildren; Violet Spring, Allison Spring, Otis Jump, and Seneca Jump. Nancy is preceded in death by her brothers; Gary Shick, William Shick and George Glahn. Her memory will live on in the rustle of pages turned, the bloom of spring lilies, and in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church in Covington at 1:00pm with the family greeting guests an hour prior.
