Nancy Hortman of Moultrie GA passed away August 21, 2025 in Grayson GA. She was surrounded by her loving and devoted husband of 40years, Edwin Hortman. She passed from complications after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.
No formal services will be held.
Nancy was born in Sylvester, GA to her parents Alice and Elton Bozeman of Moultrie GA.
She was survived by her husband Edwin Hortman; her daughters Teressa Murphy Rowland and Samantha Murphy Sullivan; Also, her grandchildren Ryan Richter, Brandi Richter Shelton, Cole Sullivan, and Jackson Sullivan and great grandson Austin Richter and Sister Evie Goff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ethel Crocker, Lois Taylor, Lenora Johnson, and brother, Allen Bozeman.
Nancy was a long-time resident of Moultrie GA where she worked at Moultrie Manufacturing and the Colquitt County School System.
Nancy was a devoted grandmother and took every chance she and Edwin could to travel and visit with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by us all.
