Nancy Lynn Knight

Nancy Lynn Coleman Knight, 81, of Broadway, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Mumaw House of Woodland Park, at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community.
Mrs. Knight was born on July 12, 1944, in Grottoes, and was a daughter of the late Charles Lee and Margaret Lucille Raynes Coleman. After graduating from Montevideo High School, Nancy worked for more than 15 years as a Secretary for Lindsey Funeral Homes. She later owned and managed rental properties for more than 40 years. Nancy was a longtime member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ where she also served as treasurer. She enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises. Mrs. Knight loved shopping, and her favorite store was Belk. Nancy's greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. Her greatest love and concern were for her children, as this was her lifelong passion of being a wonderful, caring and loving mother to both of her children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick D. Knight.
Mrs. Knight is survived by her children, Bryan Wilson "Bo" Morris, Jr. and wife, Kelley of Broadway, and Sherri Lynn Morris of Broadway; siblings, Charles "Charlie" Coleman and wife, Beth of Lexington, VA, Patricia Ann Claytor of Grottoes, and Linda Life of McGaheysville; two grandchildren, Bryce Morris and Bailey Morris, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by the father of her children, Bryan Wilson Morris, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 1 until 2 p.m., at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with Rev. Michael Kasevich officiating.
Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
