Nancy L. Lamielle

Obituary
Nancy L. (Godsey) Lamielle, age 92, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
She was born on January 15, 1931, in Alliance, to Lee and Annie (Barricks) Godsey.
Nancy was employed in accounting for 22 years at Sears Roebuck & Company in Alliance and Chicago, retiring in 1971.
She was a member of Karl Road Christian Church where she volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, food pantry coordinator, meals on wheels and a past member of Twig.
Nancy enjoyed Cleveland Indians baseball, Ohio State football, reading and jigsaw puzzles. She will be greatly missed by her family including numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Marvin and David (Mary Lou) Godsey; sisters, Rhoda Wurgler and Judy Godsey; and brother-in-law Joseph (Susan) Lamielle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodore J. Lamielle; brother, Clyde Godsey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elsie and Paul Mehnert, Lorice and Mario Scipione and Pat and Nelson Lambert; sisters-in-law Judy Godsey and Lena Godsey; and brother-in-law, Karl Wurgler.
Calling hours will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 followed immediately by a memorial service for family and friends at Highland Memorial Park.
