Nancy L. Lehman, 86, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 8, 2025 at Trustwell Living at Clyde. She was born on September 5, 1939 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Leon and Mae (Claar) Talbert. Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and received her real estate license from Terra State Community College.
Nancy married Ronald Lehman on January 1, 1984 and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2002. Nancy worked for Pioneer Sugar and Congressman Paul Gilmore for many years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and a life member of the Fremont Elks Lodge. Nancy enjoyed gambling, traveling and camping.
Nancy is survived by her children, Kimberly (Jack) Smith, Lindsey, Brian (Carol) Lieske, Fostoria, Diana (Timothy) Bayne, Strawberry Plains, TN, Cheryl Darr, Perry, FL and Brad Lieske Oak Harbor; brother, Ronald (Carol) Talbert, Fremont; grandchildren, Stephanie (Dr. Joseph) Darr, Jack “JD” (Christina) Smith, Tori (Devan) Bath, Alisen Lieske, Morgan (Robert) Suber, Amanda (Ballard) Hall, Ryan (Katie) Louallen, Eric (Crystal) Schultz, Ann Marie Schultz and Lukas Lieske; twenty great grandchildren one great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A gathering of friend and family will take place on December 6, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH. A celebration of life will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made in Nancy’s honor to the donor’s choice.
