Nancy was born on May 30, 1952, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Chester and Naomi (Cunningham) Stark. She married Thomas Lucas in 1991 and they shared 37 wonderful years together before his passing on December 29, 2018.
She attended Northwest High School in Canal Fulton and retired from Frito Lay as a corn cook and packer.
Nancy enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting pool, gardening and visiting the ocean.
Surviving are daughter, Taresa Lynn (Rob) Peters of Rittman, OH; two sons, Stephen Douglas (Angela) Vaughn of Wooster, OH, Charles (Jennie) Abernathy of Wooster, OH; two brothers, Chester (Toni) Stark Jr. of KY, David Stark of OH; sister, Dorothy Lyons of KY; seven grandchildren, Nicholas (Mia), Dylan (Abigail), Cody (Hailey), Kassandra (Brad), Aleesha, Madyson, Gwen, and Vance; great grandchildren, Elliana, Anson, Griffin, Beckett, Lennox; numerous nieces and nephews; and several lifelong close friends.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Thomas; and a nephew, Allen High.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on November 22, 2025 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, with Pastor Bill Gorby officiating.
