Nancy Mackin Obituary
Nancy Ellen Mackin (Winkler) went to be with the Lord in heaven on December 27th, 2024. She lived in Loyal Oak, Norton, Ohio all her life. She was preceded in death by siblings Elizabeth (Chuck) Miller and Ruth (Fred) Honaker, and survived by her sister Judith (Dick) Sanders. Also, survived by her three children - David Mackin, Daniel (Deanna) Mackin and Ellen (Kevin) Keith along with 5 grandchildren - Rory (Breia) Mackin, Samantha (Zach) Zupon, Ashleigh (Aaron) Holbert, Chase (Vanessa) Bing and Jacob (Kelly) Bing. She had seven great-grandchildren - Annabell, Oliver, Kaylyn, Reverie, Isla, Elowen and Lucie. Throughout Nancy’s life she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was very involved in her church community.Nancy enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, canning local produce for her family, crocheting (baby blankets, hats and scarfs). Nancy also enjoyed her book club at the Norton library. She was part of the Crescent Club and bowling with her Barberton Hospital co-workers. She enjoyed her travels including Sunday drives with Welden (Shot) Bauer. Nancy will be missed by all who knew her. Service will be held at Grace United Church of Christ in Loyal Oak on January 18th at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Nancy’s name to St Jude’s Hospital.
