Nancy McCarthy, age 88, of LaGrange passed away September 30, 2025. Loving sister of Mary (Bob) Spain, John (Bobbie) and Jim (Ellen) McCarthy. Loving aunt of Kristin, Kevin, Dan (Caitlin) Spain, and Marianne (Scott) Dowdy, Kathleen, Johnny, Margaret and Tommy McCarthy as well as 9 great-nieces and great-nephews. Cherished friend of many, including her loving caregiver for 11 years, Ludi. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret, and her brother-in-law.

Nancy will be remembered for her love of her family, her church and the White Sox.

Family and friends are invited to meet for 10am visitation until time of 11am Mass on Tuesday, October 21st at St. James Catholic Church, 2907 S. Wabash Ave., Chicago. After lunch, guests are invited to meet the family at 2:30pm for interment at St. James at Sag Bridge Catholic Church Cemetery, 10600 Archer Ave., Lemont. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association (Help fight Alzheimer's.) or St. James Food Pantry (Donate to the Food Pantry).
