Nancy Maratta Panneton, 92, of Marshall Township, a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at St. Barnabas Health System in Gibsonia. Known for her kindness, generosity, and infectious sense of humor, Nancy touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a woman with an incredibly caring heart, always ready to forgive and offer warmth to those around her. Even in her most challenging moments, Nancy maintained an unwavering positivity and a radiant smile that never failed to uplift others.
Nancy had a passion for life's simple pleasures, including getting her nails done, watching HGTV, and indulging in ice cream sundaes and Wendy's Frosties. Her love for family, laughter, and joy was evident every day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Graham Maratta and Irene Bergmann Maratta, and her beloved husband, Andre Leon Panneton, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage. Nancy is survived by her children: Cliff (Tillie) Panneton of Blandon, Lora (Greg) Rich of Gibsonia, Lynda (Louis) Royston of Castle Rock, CO, and David (Amy) Panneton of Mars. She was a proud grandmother to Bradley (Amanda) Panneton, Brian Panneton, Delaney Rich, Jocelyn Rich, Teagan Rich, Whitney Royston, William (Kaylene) Royston, Katie (Jake) McClellan, and Abby (Jack) Dickman. Her great-grandchildren, Brayden and Blake Panneton, Kynzie and Mason Royston, and Mabry and Archie McClellan.
Nancy's legacy of love extends beyond her family. She will be remembered for her selflessness, her enduring faith, and her many years of volunteer work with Good Hope Lutheran Church in Ohio and Faith Lutheran Church in Florida. She truly believed in making the world a brighter place for others.
In keeping with her wishes, funeral arrangements and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland or the Alzheimer's Association.
