Nancy Pyles Obituary

Nancy (Barnett) Pyles, 85, of Hialeah, FL, formerly of Fort Ashby, WV, died May 4, 2022 at Catholic Hospice, in Miami Fl.
Born September 19, 1936 in Terra Haute, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Baker) Barnett.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Curtis Pyles, and a brother, William "Bill" Barnett and his wife Beverly Barnett.
Mrs. Pyles was a homemaker who enjoyed playing piano, reading, playing with her grand- and great grandchildren, eating ice cream and spending time with her friends JoAnn and Carolyn. She was always there for her family, always smiling, encouraging and unselfishly giving of herself.
She belonged to New Day Baptist Church.
Survivors include her three children, Dwight Cordero and wife Victoria, Steve Pyles and wife Roberta, and Lisa Chaney; grandchildren, Dr. Jaron Cordero and his wife Leah and Maria Cordero, Stephanie Foley and husband Greg, Chris Chaney, James Chaney and wife Tiffany, and Sierra Chaney and fiance' Rian Robertson; great grandchildren, Jayda and Gemma Foley, Octavia and Syda, William and Shawn Chaney.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Ashby, on Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM.
The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Gary Cannon, officiating.
Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Day Baptist Church, P. O. Box 628, Fort Ashby, WV 26719.
