Nancy J. (Moore) Sager, age 87, a resident of Tewksbury for over 50 years, formerly of Billerica, passed away at her home in the care of hospice on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donald C. Sager, who passed away on November 28, 2011.
Born in Lowell on January 4, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Moore and the late Janet (Waite) Moore.
She was raised in Billerica, attended local schools and graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 1956,
following high school, she went on to attend Lowell Commercial College.
Prior to retiring in 2010, she served as the church secretary at Christ Church United in Lowell for 38 years.
She enjoyed listening to country-western music especially the songs from the band "Country Limited".
Nancy was the sister of Susan Harrington, of Billerica, the late Jean Cormier, of Lowell, Charles Moore and his wife Madeline, Kenneth Moore, Robert Moore and Phyllis O'Loughlin. She leaves many nieces, nephews, including John Schult, of Florida, and her dear friend and caregiver for many years, Brenda Membrino and her husband Robert, of Atkinson, NH.
At Nancy's request there are No Calling Hours. Family and friends are invited to her graveside service to be held on Tuesday, July 22, at 11 a.m. at the Lowell Cemetery, 77 Knapp Avenue, Lowell, MA. Sager Lot is located on Hoyt Avenue in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Nancy requests donations in her memory be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org
