Nancy C. (Kaminskie) Sites, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away at home on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Born on April 22, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Christina (Vottero) Kaminskie.
A graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital Nursing Program, Nancy went on to enjoy a lengthy career as a nurse, serving in the ICU, pediatric emergency department, standard emergency department, and later in a nursing home.
Outside of her work, she spent time cooking, enjoying Polka music, attending church on Sundays, watching the news, as well as watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Nancy also had a fondness for turtles-so much so that she'd pick them up when spotting them while driving.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Sites, who passed away in 2003; and one brother: Joseph Kaminskie.
Nancy will be lovingly remembered by two sons: John and Greg Sites; one daughter: Barbara McConnell; six grandchildren: Michael and Philip Walter, Austin, Brady, and Chloe Sites, and Melissa Rust; four great-grandchildren: Gianna Sites, and Ava, Jacob, and Madison Walter; one brother: Ronald Kaminskie (Pat); and one sister: Jane Bohner; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden Street, Bethlehem.
Arrangements are under the care of Connell Funeral Home, Inc.
