She was born on February 29, 1940, in Rochester, NY, to the late Thomas and Eva (Paul) Stewart. In 1978, she married Douglas Sleeman Sr., who predeceased her on November 12, 2018.
Nancy is survived by her stepson, Douglas (Elizabeth Aylesworth) Sleeman Jr. of Corning; stepdaughter, Mary Phelps of Elmira; and grandchildren: Brandi Sleeman, Amy (Dan) Willet, and Joshua Pratt.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Douglas Sleeman Sr., and her brother, Jerry Stewart.
In accordance with Nancy's wishes, there will be no services. Carpenters Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Nancy Sleeman (Stewart), please visit our Tree Store.
