Nancy Jane Spencer, 79, of Marlette, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility.

Nancy was born on April 8, 1946 in Brown City, Michigan to the late Harold and Loretta (Nicholson) Blakely. She attended Laker High School and graduated with the Class of 1964. Nancy later became a devoted member of Hope Church, where she worshiped faithfully for the last nine years. During her retired years, Nancy could often be found working on crossword puzzles, reading her Bible daily, and spending time with her beloved cat. She also enjoyed reading books written by Joyce Meyer. Music was always Nancy's greatest passion – she loved to sing, and in her younger years she served as a choir director. She also had a fondness for dancing, especially to her favorite rock 'n' roll tunes, reflecting her lively and spirited personality.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Mark) Russell, Carmin (Steve) Ellis, Jennifer McClatchie; grandchildren, Shelby, Zachary (Ashley), Allicia (Austin), Caitlin (Corey), Cole, Jasmine (Dalton), Charles (Emily), and Keagan (Mariah); several great-grandchilren; and her sister, Karen Blakely.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Joe McClatchie; and siblings, Judy Faber, Jerald Blakely, and Joan Douglas.

The family will receive visitors from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Hope Church, 3021 Main Street, Marlette, Michigan.
