Nancy Marie Tollison

Nancy LeGrand-Tollison, daughter of the late Marvin "Pop" LeGrand and Anna Marie (Tucker) LeGrand was born on September 7, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed her life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 64 years.
She attended Saint Ambrose School in Chaffee and was a member of the Saint Ambrose Catholic Church. Mrs. Tollison was a former employee of Pendergrass Company in Chaffee, Missouri for many years. At the time of her passing she was employed at the Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where she enjoyed caring for and visiting with the veterans, who became dear to her heart. In her free time, she loved reading, growing plants, and playing with her animals who were like her other children.
On September 29, 1995 she was united in marriage to James (JD) Tollison in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mr. Tollison survives of the home in Chaffee.
Besides her husband, survivors include one daughter, Kelsey (Ethan) Tollison-Woods of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Joseph (Peter Cook) LeGrand of Cape Corel, Florida; two sisters, Judith (Eddie) Lipe of Tamms, Illinois and Geralyn LeGrand of Golden, Colorado; by one niece, Katie Coffee and by one nephew, Jacob Carr; she is also survived and loved by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Celebration of life service will then be held on Saturday at 6:00 PM with Rev. George Rendleman as officiant in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
