Nancy Jane Wiggins, of Rolla, MO, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at the age of 75.
She was born on March 26, 1950 in Waynesville, MO to the late William E. Wiggins and Peggy (Thompson) Wiggins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Kitchens, on March 25, 1978, a brother, William E. Wiggins, III; maternal grandparents, Burley and Clara Thompson; and paternal grandparents, William E. Wiggins and Margaret Wiggins.
Nancy was a very talented and creative quilter. It gave her great joy to share her quilts with family and friends. She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. She also loved her cats.
Nancy was a 1968 graduate of Rolla High School. She was employed with the Missouri Highway Patrol and the Rolla Public Schools.
Nancy will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: her companion, Bill Searce; one son, David Kitchens and wife, Christina of Rolla, MO; one daughter, Lisa Enos and husband, Bill, of Springfield, MO; a brother, John Wiggins and wife, Jan of Rolla, MO; six grandchildren, Alex Kitchens and partner, Madi, David M. Kitchens and wife, Isabella, Donovan Enos, Charley Enos, Elizabeth Enos and Will Enos; one great grandchild, Nathaniel Kitchens; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her feline companions.
A funeral service for Nancy J. Wiggins will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Delbert Day Cancer Center.
