Naomi J. Albrecht

Naomi June Albrecht, 102 of Penfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange, Ohio. She was born June 15, 1923 in Carlisle Twp. Lorain County, Ohio to John and Marguerite (Shawver) Bock.

Naomi attended Brownhelm School and on April 27, 1940, she married Edward Albrecht. In 1945 they purchased their farm in Penfield where Naomi and Ed worked and raised their family. Naomi also worked at the Singer Sewing Machine Company in Elyria where she was a demonstrator and salesperson. She was a 4-H Advisor in Penfield and enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, and cross-stitching. Naomi made sure each child and her many grandchildren had a hand-made keepsake. She was also an outstanding cook and was known for her Fall donuts and favorite "secret ingredient" spaghetti sauce, which to the chagrin of her children and grandchildren has yet to be duplicated.

Naomi is survived by her daughters, Barbara Hemmeter of Lodi and Sharon Perzy of Jupiter, FL; son, William Albrecht of Penfield; 10 grandchildren and numerous great, great-great, and great-great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; sons-in-law, Ronald Hemmeter and Terry Perzy; daughter-in-law, Linda Albrecht; and grandson, Donald Lewis.

Visitation will be Monday, September 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Parker Funeral Home, 202 East Main St., Spencer, Ohio, where her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 9, at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert Ludwig will officiate and burial will follow at Penfield Cemetery.
