Nate Passaro Obituary

Nate was a life-long learner. A graduate of Neuqua Valley High School and a proud, former Marching Wildcat, he attended Purdue University as well as the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. After completing his Bachelor's in the Spring of 2023, he continued his education at UIUC as a Master's student in the Library Science program. When he wasn't studying or nose-down in a book, he was actively on the lookout for the cutest dog in any area, discovering new music, quizzing others on their history knowledge, watching a sports match, playing video games, and so much more.
Nate is survived by his loving parents, Frank E. and Andrea M. (nee Lyles) Passaro; his sister and brother, Paige J. and Thomas J. He is also survived by his grandmother, Linda E. Freer; his grandfather, Thomas P. Passaro; his aunt, Jill Mitchell; his uncle, Paul (Viktoriia) Passaro; and his cousins, Carter and Jack Mitchell, and Kevin and Dylan Passaro. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James R. Lyles and Patricia B. Passaro; his uncle, Tracy S. Mitchell.
A Memorial Tribute to honor Nate will take place on Saturday, August 10th between 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Stonegate Clubhouse (1300 Mansfield Drive, Aurora, Illinois 60502).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nate's name may be made to A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in Naperville.
Nate's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. He will be dearly missed.
