Michael Paul Miller Jr.

With hearts broken but full of gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Michael 'Mikey' Paul Miller, age 36. Mikey left us unexpectedly on November 15, 2025, at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois, following a sudden stroke. His departure is a loss too deep to measure, and his absence will be felt every day.
Michael was born on August 2, 1989 in Dearborn, MI. He survived by his loving mother, Mary Lynn Miller; his dear sister, Maureen (Scott DeGeeter) Miller of Naperville; his aunts and uncles, Colleen (Frank) Mohacsi, George (Phillip Everett) Woods, Richard (Mary) Woods, Dr. Nancy (Steve Johnson) Miller; as well as numerous cousins and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Paul Miller, Sr.; his aunt, Teresa (Scott) Brighton, and uncles, Dr. Steven Miller and James Miller; and his faithful four-legged friend, Jackie.
Michael was a graduate of Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, went on to earn his finance degree from Western Illinois University before beginning a dedicated career with Blue Cross Blue Shield. A hardworking and loyal employee, he brought integrity and heart to everything he did. Beyond his professional life, he found joy on the golf course and hockey rink, and cherished the peace of fishing. He was a loyal friend, the best son, and a loving brother-known for his humble spirit, generous nature, and the warmth he brought to everyone around him. His presence made the world brighter, and he will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his life on Friday, December 5, at the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield.
