It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nathan Ash who left us far too soon at the age of 20. A young man full of life, adventure, and boundless courage, Nate lived with a fearlessness that inspired everyone who knew him. His enthusiasm for life, passion for new experiences, and his unwavering strength in the face of challenges will forever be remembered.
Nate had a heart that was larger than life, always ready to lend a hand, offer a word of encouragement, or share a laugh with those around him. He was known for his boldness, his curiosity about the world, and his ability to turn any moment into a memory that would last a lifetime. His dreams were big, and he was never afraid to chase them.
Though his time with us was short, Nate leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a fearless spirit that will continue to inspire his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to cross his path.
Nate was predeceased in death by his father, Will Ash, his cousin, Haley Meetze, grandmother, Phyllis Whitfield and his brother, Isaac.
He is survived by his mother, Dena Ash; brother, Zacharia Ash; grandparents, Quincey & Millie Morgan and Wilbur Ash; aunts, Donya Jones (Bill), Tandy Beamish (Cory), Sandy Witherspoon (Daniel), Stephanie Cockrell (Chris); and cousins, Ryan, Courtney (Mitchel), Taylor, Cole, Chandler, Isley, Bryce, Grayson, Sunny (Bekah), Reno (Victoria), and Jessi (Douglas) whose hearts he filled with joy and pride. Nate will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the stories we share, the lessons he taught us, and the example he set of living boldly, loving deeply, and embracing every moment.
Rest in peace, Nate. Your journey was one of courage, and you will forever be remembered as the fearless young man who lived with all his heart.
Services for Nate will be held February 10, 2025 at Kittiwake Baptist Church, 420 Kitti Wake Dr, West Columbia, SC 29170. The family will receive visitors starting at 1:00 pm, with services beginning at 2:00 pm.
