Nathan Joseph Roper entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2024. Beloved father of Rory Roper (Sarah), and the late Kristen Roper. Stepfather of Tiffany Junot and Stephanie Junot (Aaron). Grandfather of Elora Roper, Atlas Roper, and Naomie Junot. Son of the late Roger B. Roper, Sr. and Josephine Hone Roper. Brother of Linda R. Cruanes (late Jimmy), Roger “Butch” Roper, Jr. (Virginia), and the late Joann R. Landry and Stanley Durand. Age 74 years, and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Nathan loved his kids, grandkids, the Saints, and Algiers. He was a longtime member of the Algiers Shamrock Society and unofficial Mayor of Algiers Point. He was a permanent staple of the Dry Dock and was beloved by the community.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Celebration of Life at the Dry Dock Café, Algiers, LA on (date and time will be announced soon). Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
