Nathan Wesley Wallace, age 86, of Carriere, Mississippi, went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 26, 2024. Born on July 31, 1938, in Franklinton, Louisiana, Nathan was the beloved son of the late Joseph McCauley Wallace and Georgia Mae Smith Wallace. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Wallace. He is survived by his daughter, Kelli Wallace Littlefield; her husband, James; and his cherished grandchildren, Dylan Stump, Hillary Stump, and London Littlefield, who will carry on his legacy of love and wisdom. Nathan is also survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Thomson of Tallahassee, Florida; his niece, Brandi Wallace; nephews, Todd Thomson and Joe Wallace; along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.
A proud graduate of Franklinton High School, Nathan built a lifelong foundation of learning and service. His professional journey led him to an extraordinary 40-year career at Louisiana State University, where he was not only a dedicated employee but also a mentor, colleague, and friend to many.
Nathan's life was defined by his unwavering kindness, compassion, and genuine care for others. He was a pillar of strength and support in his community, known for his warm smile, willingness to help, always ready to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, and heartfelt connections with all who crossed his path.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service that will forever inspire those fortunate enough to have known him.
There will be a privately held celebration of life in the coming weeks.
